Haitian Heritage Month Storytime
Wednesdays, May 7, 14, 21 and 28 from 4-5 p.m.
Each Wednesday in May, join an elected official for an hour of story time as they read children's books depicting stories about the culture and heritage of Haiti. 

Ti Moso Lakay: Haitian Home Cooking
Thursday, May 8, 6-7:45 p.m.
Chef Thia teaches how to make traditional Haitian dishes in honor of Haitian Heritage Month.

Enjoy a reading of the children's book “Haiti A to Z” by M.J. Fievre and make a flag collage.  

Cinema Past, Present & Future: Haitian Film Screening
Saturday, May 17 from 2-7:30 p.m.
Screening of two Haitian films, “July 7: Who Killed The President of Haiti?” and “Le Miracle De La Foi,” followed by a panel discussion with members of the Haitian film and arts communities.

Pedale 1804: 18.04 Mile TriCity Bike Ride & Wellness Oasis
Sunday, May 18 from 6-11 a.m.
Take an 18.04-mile bike ride through North Miami, North Miami Beach and Miami, with stops at notable Haitian American landmarks ending at MOCA Plaza for the 2nd Annual Wellness Oasis, featuring health-centered activities.

Tí Mache: Haitian Farmers' Market
Sunday, May 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Event honoring the cultural richness of Haiti's local markets at Ti Mache, while supporting local entrepreneurs and businesses.

Taste of NoMi: Gou Lakay
Sunday, May 18 noon to 5 p.m.
Celebrate Haitian culture with authentic cuisine, handcrafted goods, live music, and folkloric dance.
