Shop for fresh produce, prepared foods, vintage treasures, art, decor and other items from South Florida vendors, farmers and artisans at the many farmers' markets and vendor fairs in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.

The South Florida farmers markets and vendor fairs often include opportunities for extra fun and entertainment like yoga, live music, hayrides, pony rides, face painting or petting zoos. Usually entry is free. For lots of events, parking is free. Often yoga is free.

Vendor fairs and farmers markets offer opportunities for delightful, and frugal, outdoor family fun, solo excursions or dates.

Sunny Side Up Market is featuring a shopping event with local vendors  noon – 4 p.m. Saturday, June 22 at Society Las Olas, 301 SW First Ave, Fort Lauderdale.  Live music is 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. and 11 a.m. is yoga for $5. Entry is free.

Parking in Fort Lauderdale is usually about $3 or $4 an hour.

Sawgrass Mills Farmer's and Artisan's market

10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sundays at the popular shopping, dining and entertainment venue. Information is online.

The MKT at Las Olas Oceanside Park

The market is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays.

Extra activities and entertainment are often featured.  Yoga is offered, sometimes free and sometimes for an extra fee.  Yoga at 9:45 a.m. Saturdays in January and February is offered for free. Las Olas Oceanside Park is at 3000 E. Las Olas Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale.

Marando Farms

Downtown Hollywood ArtWalk events, which are usually the third Saturday of the month, include artisan vendors. The Artisan Market is 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Harrison Street, from 20th Avenue to 21st Avenue.

Food In Motion
