FAU Symphony Orchestra, Boca Raton

This season opener not only features masterworks but also includes new compositions during the Florida Atlantic University Symphony Orchestra's premiere concert of its 32nd season.

• What: “Exuberance & Wonder“
• When: 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 5, 2023
• Where: University Theatre, 777 Glades Road, Boca Raton, FL 33431
• Cost: General admission $10; a $2 service fee is added to all in-person and phone orders.

Program highlights include the following:

• Finale from Brahms Symphony No. 4 in E Minor
• Elegy from Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings
• Bizet's pastoral suite from L'Arlesienne
• Josè Luis Elizondo's energetic Estampas Mexicanas

The orchestra will be conducted under the baton of Dr. Laura Joella.
