Youth BookFest at library in Plantation includes entertainers, projects and free books
Performances, activities and free books are are featured at a Broward Library BookFest for youngsters and their families.
The family BookFest event in 2026 is 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 30, and entry is free. Free books are distributed while supplies last.
The event is at West Regional Library, 8601 W. Broward Blvd., Plantation 33324. Parking is free.

The festival includes:

- STEAM projects with Young at Art
- 12 p.m. Dances of India presented by Rhythms School of Dance
- Paint the Plantation fire truck outdoors
- 1:30 p.m. USVI Mocko Jumbie Stilt Dancers

- 1 p.m. drawing workshop
- 10:30 a.m. Miss Tracy Sings
