Youth BookFest at library in Plantation includes entertainers, projects and free books

Performances, activities and free books are are featured at a Broward Library BookFest for youngsters and their families.

The family BookFest event in 2026 is 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 30, and entry is free. Free books are distributed while supplies last. 

The event is at West Regional Library, 8601 W. Broward Blvd., Plantation 33324. Parking is free.

  • 12 p.m. Dances of India presented by Rhythms School of Dance
  • Paint the Plantation fire truck outdoors
  • 1:30 p.m. USVI Mocko Jumbie Stilt Dancers

  • 12:30 p.m. Mama Mia Magic 
  • 1 p.m. drawing workshop 
  • 10:30 a.m. Miss Tracy Sings
  • 2:30 p.m. Mixed Up Fairy Tale Show
