Doggy Fest & other pet events for pooches & people

For folks who adore hanging out with furry friends, some festivals and events in Broward are designed for people and pets. 

Often the events include wonderful pets available for adoption. 

Pet events in 2026 include 

Doggy Fest 

Dogs with talent, vendors, and pooches for adoption are featured at Doggy Fest at Tarpon River Brewing in Fort Lauderdale 

Doggy Fest in 2026 is 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. April 26 and entry is free. Register for the talent event on the website.

Dog Expo in North Broward 

The Dog Expo features vendors showcasing products and other goods for pooches. 

9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Saturday May 2

Windmill Park, 700 Lyons Road, Coconut Creek  33063

Dogs who attend need to be leashed and with their humans. 

Extra parking is at Coconut Creek Elementary, 500 NW 45th Avenue and the Community Center, 1100 Lyons Road.
