If dance is your thing, or you are eager to learn, whether it's ballet, modern, jazz, African or hip-hop, you will be MOVED by this staggering array of professionals willing to share their moves.

  • When: Saturday, Feb. 22, from 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
  • Where: Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, 701 Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach.

This is an all-day event. An all-day pass lets you participate in every workshop and class you desire for $25. However, some individual repertoire classes are FREE, as long as you register in advance. Spots are limited for this celebration of Black History and culture through the transformative power of dance.

Plus, the MOVED Concert is on a “pay-what-you-can” basis! Event presented by the Natural Movers Foundation. Evening concert is from 8 to 9:30 p.m., with Q&A (doors open at 7:30 p.m.).

Concert features the premiere of contemporary works by commissioned Black choreographers and dancers, including a special presentation by featured artist Paunika Jones, former Principal Ballerina with Dance Theatre of Harlem.

Also during the day: Families are invited to participate in story time and Indian dance with Pranati Kumar of Rohi’s Readery and a family art session.
