This summer, the popular fast-casual restaurant is offering the “Summer of Extras,” a three-month program rewarding Chipotle Rewards members in the U.S. with more than $1 million in FREE burritos from June 1 to August 31, 2025.

Chipotle Rewards members will have the opportunity to earn extra points and exclusive badges for completing milestones throughout the summer, as well as gain sweepstakes entries for a chance to win a limited-edition stainless steel Chipotle card with FREE burritos for a year.
Best of all, Chipotle will give 10,000 Chipotle Rewards members a FREE burrito each week this summer.
IMPORTANT: Chipotle Rewards members must first activate the “Summer of Extras” challenge in their account at chipotle.com/summer-of-extras.

Here’s how the reward program works:
From June 1 to August 31, 2025, “Summer of Extras” will give Chipotle’s U.S. loyalty members the chance to earn extra benefits, extra points and extra FREE Chipotle.
Every week, Chipotle will be dropping 10,000 FREE burritos into the wallets of lucky rewards members who participate in “Summer of Extras” program.
One Chipotle Rewards member in each of the 48 states the company operates in will win FREE burritos for a year.
Completing Milestones
Each month, Chipotle Rewards members can earn the following milestones:
Milestones reset each month to give members more opportunities to earn extra rewards and points all summer long.
- Milestone One: After the purchase of one entrée, members earn 50 bonus points, five sweepstakes entries and an Extras badge.
- Milestone Two: After the purchase of two more entrées, members earn 100 bonus points, 10 sweepstakes entries and an Extras badge.
- Milestone Three: After the purchase of two more entrées, members earn 200 bonus points, 15 sweepstakes entries and an Extras badge.
- Milestone Four: After the purchase of two more entrées, members earn 300 bonus points, 30 sweepstakes entries and an Extras badge.
- Note: Participants are limited to two qualifying entrée purchases per day. A qualifying entrée is defined as a burrito, burrito bowl, single order of tacos, quesadilla or salad.
- 10,000 Free Burritos Every Week
To celebrate the “Summer of Extras” program, Chipotle is giving 10,000 Chipotle Rewards members selected at random a FREE burrito every week.
Chipotle will conduct one Weekly Drawing to select up to 10,000 potential winners from among all eligible entries.
Chipotle Rewards members who opt in for “Summer of Extras” can enter the weekly drawings by making any in-restaurant or digital Chipotle entrée purchase or by submitting an online entry.
Weekly entry periods begin each Sunday at midnight PT and end the following Saturday at 11:59 p.m. PT, except for the final weekly entry period, which begins August 24 at midnight PT and ends August 31 at 11:59 p.m. PT.
Burritos For A Year
At the end of the summer promotion, Chipotle will randomly select one winner per state in the 48 states in which they operate, plus Washington D.C., for a total of 49 winners.
Each state winner will receive FREE burritos for a year and a limited-edition stainless steel gift card.
Superfan Leaderboard
Fans can also track their progress and compete against fellow superfans with the “Summer of Extras” dashboard, which tracks members’ performance against others in their state based on transactions.
The dashboard also offers fun user insights, such as Team Guac or Queso Blanco and how many different locations users visit during the summer.
