Banyan Dance Festival, Aug. 3-8, greater West Palm Beach

Here is what happens when the Natural Movers Foundation, Grounded WPB ad the Cultural Council of Palm Beach County team up. The result is the Banyan Dance Festival, the first of its kind in South Florida.

There are master classes, workshops, intensives, performances and events not only for dancers and aspiring dancers on every level, but also for observers. Presentations are open to the public at different locations. Many are free or in the $10-$15 range, while others for those interested in professional advancement may cost up to $65.

It's a weeklong festival with something for everyone who enjoys or wants to learn more about the art of dance.

Attendees will not only gain access to the creative process but also may witness firsthand how movement is crafted, refined, and brought to life in rehearsal.
