AOTA Fest in Fort Lauderdale offers tours, exhibits and activities

Tours, hands-on art activities and artists painting live are featured at the Avenue of the Arts Festival in Fort Lauderdale.

The event, nicknamed AOTA Fest, focuses on art, education and youth enrichment. Watch artists painting murals live. Events are free. 

Events January 21-25 in 2026 include

  • free mural tours, reservations recommended, information is online 
  • 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Friday, January 23  art exhibit and fiber artist fashion show at Plunge Beach Resort, 4660 El Mar Drive, Lauderdale-By-The-Sea
  • block party 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. January 24 at Uncommon Path Brewing, 710 NW Fifth Ave., Fort Lauderdale 33311
  • block party and hands-on projects with an emphasis on youth and families 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. January 25 at Thrive Art District, 710 NW Fifth Ave., Fort Lauderdale 33311
