Viernes Culturales in Little Havana: Music, art and free walking tour

Viernes Culturales (Cultural Fridays) is a South Florida tradition. This free arts and music festival takes place on the last Friday of each month from 5-10 p.m. on Calle Ocho (Southwest Eighth Street), in the heart of Little Havana, between 13th and 22nd avenues.

Every month, enjoy music in Domino Plaza, as well as works by local artists and artisans. There's even a free Little Havana Walking Tour with Miami historian Dr. Paul George at 7 p.m. You can sign up for the tour here.

Visit the Futurama Galleries to see works by over 20 artists on display and listen to live music from 6-9 p.m. and enjoy beer and cocktail samplings.

There are also plenty of other spots along Eighth St. for live music and dancing including...

  • Ball & Chain Restaurant & Lounge, 1513 SW 8 St.
  • Cafe La Trova, 971 SW 8 St.
  • Cubata Tapas y Vinos, 1605 SW 8 St.
