Free Communitea dance at Arsht Center

In celebration of National Pride Month  the Arsht Center once again hosts its free, all-ages outdoor event CommuniTea Dance on June 9 from 4-8 p.m., honoring South Florida’s vibrant community with the best local and international entertainment by LGBTQ artists and allies in the heart of downtown Miami. All are welcome to enjoy a late afternoon on the Center’s Thomson Plaza for the Arts to celebrate love, dance, and be proud.

Tony Award winner and Grammy-nominated artist Alex Newell whose breakout role was on the hit show “Glee” and DJ Musicat are set to headline.

The Arsht Center's LGBTQ+ Pride celebration returns for its sixth year, with festivities in the Thomson Plaza for the Arts. CommuniTEA Dance is a FREE event and features South Florida's vibrant LGBTQ+ community with performances and DJs in the heart of downtown Miami! Enjoy happy-hour food and drinks, express yourself with the arts and learn from our community partners and vendors.
