Viernes Culturales (Cultural Fridays), a free arts and music festival, takes place on the last Friday of the month from 7 to 11 p.m.
Viernes Culturales features dancing under the stars, domino games, cigar rollers, cafecitos and mojitos. The Domino Plaza is filled with works by local artists and artisans. Take a free tour “South by Southwest” featuring various historic homes of different styles and a the Attack Brigade 2506 Museum with Dr. Paul George.
The performance line-up includes Sol Bua at 8 p.m.; Alberto Castro at 8:30 p.m.; Alejandra Luna at 9:30 p.m. and Zulu Nation at 10:30 p.m.
Also visit Beck’s Urban Canvas project, featuring newly painted works on Calle Ocho buildings by artists participating in the project.
