Free swimming lessons at YMCAs

YMCA South Florida organizations offer free swim lessons for water safety. The lessons are for kids, teens and adults.

In 2024, free lessons are March 25-29, and registration is required online.

YMCA facilities in Broward offering free swim instruction include Pembroke Pines, Weston, Hallandale Beach, Hollywood, and Fort Lauderdale. Residency in Broward is not required.
