Vintage fire trucks, gear & a pole at Fort Lauderdale Fire and Safety Museum & entry is free
Within an historic restored fire station in Fort Lauderdale, an array of safety equipment, uniforms and vintage fire trucks are on display.
Kids may want to slide on the shiny brass-hued firefighters pole.

The Fort Lauderdale Fire and Safety Museum is open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the second and last Saturdays of the month.
It's an interesting and educational excursion with interactive features for families, history buffs and frugal dates.
Entry is free. Donations are appreciated.
