Tanabata: Seventh day of the 7th month Japanese Star Festival, Wellington

The Village of Wellington will be celebrating the Tanabata, an annual Japanese Star Festival that culminates on the seventh day of the seventh month. The public is invited to write wishes on pieces of colorful paper, called Tanzaku, and attach them to bamboo branches or “Wish Trees” in the hopes they come true.

Please note — Village Hall and the Wellington Community Center will be closed for Independence Day on Thursday, July 4th.
