Sunrise offers free bike safety expo, touch a truck & vintage vehicles

Entry is free for an auto show with vintage vehicles, touch a truck and bike safety expo for kids and adults in Sunrise.

The event in 2024 is 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 9, at Welleby Park. Food trucks will offer fare for purchase. A Touch A Truck exhibit offers fun for kids.

Classic cars are on display.

Welleby Park is at 11100 NW 44th Street, Sunrise 33351

Organizers say that entrance on  NW 44th Street is not open. Parking is offered at the Hiatus Road entrance and across the street and at the lot at the northeast corner of Hiatus Road and NW 44th Street. Free shuttles are offered.

Welleby Park includes splash pad, playground, and Safety Town play area.  A boardwalk runs along a lake. Welleby Park includes Pawgrass dog park. Parking and entry are free.
