Summer Saturdays in the Gardens at Casa Ylang Ylang

Spend Saturday strolling through the grounds and gardens at Casa Ylang Ylang in Homestead during the weekly Summer Saturdays in the Gardens from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Held over five consecutive Saturdays from July 11 through Aug. 8. The event is hosted by Gather & Grow Miami.

The Saturday events feature 20+ local makers and vendors for a special shopping experience in an outdoor setting and are pet friendly. They also offer craft cocktails, beer and wine for sale and creative workshops for an additional fee. Admission to Summer Saturdays is $10 for adults and $5 for kids ages 3-12 (in advance), and $12 for adults and $8 for kids (at the door).

Visit the 1930 Victorian Cottage set on four acres of lush aroma gardens, fountains, gazebos, fruit trees. The Benjamin Family who restored the house in 2015, in honor of the family matriarch Donasha Benjamin, adorned the house with her collection of handcrafted items, international art and collectible furnishings.

The site is also the nation's largest grower, producer and nursery of Ylang Ylang plants.
