Sonic Drive-In’s Free Fridays offers freebies & deals all summer long

BOOM! Sonic Drive-In is making lots of noise among famished bargain hunters with its popular value menu. Live Free Fridays — a weekly celebration packed with exclusive in-app freebies and deals.

The celebration runs through Aug. 29, 2025, so there will be plenty of Fridays to be frugal. 

Enjoy one of 9 popular menu items for just $1.99. Fans can create their own “cheap” combo for under $6 — a sandwich or wrap, soft pretzel and Cream Crush.

From June 20 to Aug. 29, 2025, fans can open the Sonic app every Friday to unwrap a new freebie that’s automatically loaded and ready to redeem with any qualifying purchase. No promo codes or digital coupons needed. 

Expect to find deals on many Sonic Drive-In favorites, including corn dogs, shakes, fries, cheeseburgers and more.

Plus, enjoy half-price drinks every day from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. when you order at the drive-in or score the same sweet deal anytime when you order ahead in the Sonic app with your rewards.

And, don’t forget, the restaurant is offering 50% off all Classic and Master Shakes (after 5 p.m.), too — through June 29, 2025.

The $1.99 Value Menu is available for a limited time at participating locations.

The menu is available in-restaurant and online via Sonic’s site or app. The discount is automatically applied at checkout.
