Scottish Festival & Highland Games in Plantation offers kilts event, singing, dancing … and discounts!

Celebrate all things Scottish at a special event coming to Plantation on Saturday, March 5, 2022.

The Southeast Florida Scottish Festival & Highland Games is expected to bring exciting athletic events, live entertainment, and a whimsical Knobby Knees in Kilts event to Plantation Heritage Park, at 1100 Fig Tree Lane.

Organizers have announced opportunities for discounted and free admission:

  • $15 purchased prior to the event at specified local vendors, information about vendors is on the website
  • $16.66 with fees, for online purchases
  • $20 at the event
  • $3 for guests age 6-14
  • free for age 5 and younger
  • free entry for volunteers; register online

The event is presented by the Scottish American Society of South Florida. Entertainment includes:

  • Highland dancing
  • Scottish rock and folk singing
  • artisan demonstrations
  • historic and heritage displays
  • kids’ activities
  • artisan vendors
  • Scottish Heavy Athletics Juniors & Adults divisions
  • Nobby Knees Kilted Leg event with prizes

Event 8 p.m. – 10 p.m. March 4 featuring live entertainment, Broward PBA Hall, 2901 SW 26th Terrace, Fort Lauderdale, $15, limited tickets, information on the website
