Discounts include
November 29-30 Furrday Adoption deals including waived fees for designated pets and half-price fees for pets at least a year old
Half-price adoption fees for seniors who adopt dogs or cats that are at least 3 years old
Mutts and Meows For Military offers free adoptions of pets at least a year old for veterans. The program is sponsored by Spirit Airlines.

Broward County animal care department
No fees for adopting dogs and cats at Broward Animal Care. The shelter is at 2400 SW 42nd St., Fort Lauderdale 33312. The adoption includes vaccinations and microchip.
