Floats, twirlers, and dancers are among entertainment featured in the Sistrunk Parade and Festival in Fort Lauderdale.
Sistrunk Parade and Festival in 2026 is 8:30 a.m. Saturday, February 28, for the parade and 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. for the festival. Entry to the festivities is free.
The event is in association with Black History Month.
Sistrunk Parade and Festival in Fort Lauderdale includes
- Parade 8:30 a.m. on Sistrunk Boulevard from Northwest 17th Avenue to Northwest 10th Avenue. The parade includes vintage vehicles, step teams and floats.
- Street festival is 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Sistrunk Boulevard, Northwest Ninth Avenue – Northwest 14th Terrace
- Vendors
- Kids' zone
- Food for purchase
- Live music including these and others
4 p.m. Larry Dogg Band
5:15 p.m. Dwight Moment and Symphony
7 p.m. KeKe Wyatt
