Outlet Festival for everyone: Celebrating the arts at the Koubek Center

If you are looking for things to do this weekend, here are a few suggestions from Outlet Festival, a bilingual event for all audiences especially designed to celebrate and empower all-abilities individuals to explore their creativity through the arts. Presented by the Miami-Dade College Koubek Center.

Documentary screening

Sonia Soberats en “El Laberinto de lo Posible” by Wanadi Siso, followed by a Q&A session with the director of photography Mauricio Siso.

Sunday, October 16, from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Film in Spanish with English subtitles. Free event with RSVP.

Improvisto USA, (in Spanish)

This is an improvisational play that has had a successful 15-year run in Venezuela. Directed by Ron Chavez, every performance is one-of-a-kind and unrepeatable. Improvisto USA integrates the multicultural attributes of Miami to engage different communities. It’s an interactive, beautiful performance for the whole family.

Sunday, October 16, 7:30-9 p.m. Cost: $20.
