Free Beethoven Festival by Orchestra Miami

Celebrate the birthday of one of the greatest contributors to the arts — Ludwig van Beethoven — with Orchestra Miami's Beethoven on the Beach 2024.

Orchestra Miami presents “Beethoven on the Beach” its annual popular free outdoor concert series. The 2024 version features special guest soloist Orchestra Miami's Principal Cellist Aaron Merritt, who will perform Saint-Saëns’ Cello Concerto N. 1 in A Minor, Op. 33.

Also on the program is the dramatic Overture to Don Giovanni by Mozart and the joyous “Italian” Symphony N. 4 in A Major by Mendelssohn. They will also perform Beethoven – the Overture to the ballet The Creatures of Prometheus Op. 43. The 42 musicians of Orchestra will be led by Artistic Director Elaine Rinaldi.

There are three opportunities to hear this fabulous concert:

  • Sunday, March 10, 2024 at 7 p.m. at the Miami Beach Bandshell, 7275 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach.
  • Friday, March 15, 2024 at 8 p.m. at Pinecrest Gardens, 11000 SW 57 Avenue, Pinecrest.
  • Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 6 p.m. at Gateway Park, 151 Sunny Isles Blvd., Sunny Isles Beach.

As always, these concerts will be free and open to the public.
