Open House Miami 2026 weekend, free events around Miami-Dade

Participating in a global effort to make cities more open and accessible, Miami-Dade is offering Open House Miami 2026 the weekend of Friday, Feb. 28 through Sunday March 1.

That weekend you can explore venues and events throughout the city for free, several events are sold out but there is still availability for several others.

  • Take a tour of Canopy Park at The Park on Fifth on Miami Beach
  • Visit the Opa-locka Museum of Art & History
  • Visit the Jewish Museum-FIU on Miami Beach
  • Explore the “Everyday People” exhibition at City of Miami Black Police Precinct Museum
  • Take a Miami Beach City Center Walking Tour with historical expert George Neary
  • Learn about Miami-Dade Public Library's Special Collections & Archives
  • Visit the Miami Design Preservation League Museum during their Open House
