Concerts and events at Old Davie School Museum

Deals and occasional extra events are offered at Old Davie School Museum, an interesting historical attraction with an authentic old schoolhouse and a replica of a Florida pioneer home. Some events offer free or discounted entry.

Entry fees

Regular entry fees are $7 for ages 5 and older.  It's free for younger kids.

Tours are offered by appointment.

Interactive features & exhibits include 1920s classroom, dip ink pens,  and historic homes. A replica pioneer home is part of the attraction.

Rock band

Apache Dragon band performs sets 1 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. Sunday, November 10, outdoors in a shaded area. Feel free to bring blankets or portable seats.  Entry and parking are free=

Open Mic

7 p.m. to 9 p.m. second Thursdays are open mic events for a variety of talent types. Entry is free for performers and $5 for others. Register to perform by angelica@thisisimprov.com or sign up if available prior to the event.

Model Train Show

10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, October 12, at Old Davie School Historical Museum, 6550 Griffin Road, Davie. Entry is $7 and free for kids 12 and younger.

Deals

Museums for All, discounted entry for eligible patrons who receive food assistance. Display EBT voucher and photo ID.  Feature: Free entry for museums with EBT voucher.
