The Plantation event includes a petting zoo, rock wall and The Fuzz police department band.

5 p.m. – 9 p.m. Tuesday, August 6 at Pine Island Park, 320 S. Pine Island Road, Plantation. The event includes live entertainment from The Fuzz police department rock band. Parking is free.

Sunrise
6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Tuesday, August 6 at the Sunrise Public Safety Building, 10440 W. Oakland Park Boulevard, Sunrise. The National Night Out event includes free food, entertainment and family activities. Police K9 and SWAT demonstrations are featured. Fingerprinting and face painting are offered for kids.
Margate
Vendors, safety information, entertainment, food and activities are featured at National Night Out in Margate. The event is 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. August 6 and entry is free. It's at the sports complex, 1695 Banks Road.
