Music Club of Hollywood free folk concerts

The Music Club of Hollywood is planning two free concerts this month, with donations accepted. 

Sunday, Feb. 19, 2 p.m. Hootenanny and a Highwayman featuring Roy Connors, who was a member of the 1960s folk group The Highwaymen. Roy will share stories and song of the folk groups of the 1960s. The event will be at the Anne Kolb Nature Center, 751 Sheridan Street, Hollywood.

Sunday, Feb. 26, 2 p.m. Chris Kahl, Florida folk singer and storyteller. Chris will present “A Musical Journey Through Florida,” with original songs and stories about Florida's culture and history. The event will be at the Stirling Road Branch Library, 3151 Stirling Road, Hollywood 33021.

The Music Club of Hollywood includes music lovers, musicians, artists and teachers.  Membership is $45 a year.
