Music Club of Hollywood free concerts

The Music Club of Hollywood is planning a full season of free concerts at various venues in Hollywood through June 2026.

Here is the schedule:

  • Saturday, Jan. 10, 4 p.m. Sounds of Motown featuring 3 Generations. T-Y Park, 3300 N. Park Rd., Hollywood.
  • Sunday, Jan. 18, 2 p.m. South Florida folk & Acoustic Music Festival singer-songwriter competition. Anne Kolb Nature Center, 751 Sheridan St., Hollywood. 
  • Sunday, Jan. 25, 3 p.m.  Folk musicians David Zilmer, Rebecca Marie and Noah Proudfoot. Stirling Road Library, 3151 Stirling Road, Hollywood 33021.
  • Sunday, Feb. 22, 2 p.m. Cecilia St. King, singer-songwriter. Anne Kolb Nature Center, 751 Sheridan St., Hollywood. 
  • Sunday, March 15, 2 p.m. Jazz concert. Anne Kolb Nature Center, 751 Sheridan St., Hollywood.
  • Sunday, March 22, 3 p.m. Matthew Sabatella and Chris DeAngelis, most beloved folk songs of all time. Stirling Road Library, 3151 Stirling Road, Hollywood 33021.
  • Sunday, April 26, 3 p.m. Grant Livingston, folk musician and singer-songwriter. Stirling Road Library, 3151 Stirling Road, Hollywood 33021.
  • Sunday, May 10, 2 p.m. Mother's Day Concert. Anne Kolb Nature Center, 751 Sheridan St., Hollywood.
  • Sunday, June 7, 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Day of teacher and student recitals. Anne Kolb Nature Center, 751 Sheridan St., Hollywood.

The Folk Music Series is presented by the Music Club of Hollywood, the South Florida Folk & Acoustic Music Club and the Friends of the Stirling Library.

The Music Club of Hollywood includes music lovers, musicians, artists and teachers.  Membership is $45 a year.

Teresa Mears is a publisher, writer and editor who was raised to be frugal. She became a website entrepreneur after 30 years as an editor at newspapers ranging in size from the Portland (Tenn.) Leader to The Los Angeles Times and The Miami Herald, where she worked most recently.
