Miami Vice 40th Anniversary Celebration widens

In the fall of 1984, NBC rolled out a new crime drama for primetime TV viewers, called “Miami Vice.” The show was a hit and it ran for five years. But it was more than just an entertaining series. It was also a cultural phenomenon that painted Miami in a dazzling, neon-lit glow.
