The Things Lab hosts monthly swap meet

The Things Lab is a quirky place, located inside Artisan's Playhouse at 2456 W 8 Ct. in Hialeah, it's where you go if you love swap meets. They host one every third Sunday of the month from 2-5 p.m. 

Walk in and you'll be meet with well, just about anything you can imagine. Created by local artists Susan Caraballo and Kerry Phillips, their idea and really priority is reuse and creativity. It's a community effort to share and connect with others.

The concept is to bring 10 gently used items, excluding books and clothes, but aside from that, anything goes. While there you can bring materials with you and work on your own project, buy items/supplies on a pay what you can scale, paint and glaze a reusable mug or other piece and sign up for a pottery or rug tufting class at Artisan's Playhouse.
