Miami Beach Classical Music Festival Summer Series

The Miami Beach Classical Music Festival will present their free Summer Series with concerts at Lummus Park, between 14th Street and 14th Place, on South Beach and at The Betsy Hotel, 1440 Ocean Dr., Miami Beach.

Here is the line-up:

Thursday, June 27 at 8 p.m.
The Betsy Hotel
Open Aria Night. The Magic Flute Cast concert by the Miami Music Festival Orchestra and up and coming opera singers.

Thursday, July 4 at 8:30 p.m.
Lummus Park
Patriotic Concert by Miami Music Festival Orchestra and Alumni Division singers performing selections including The Stars and Stripes Forever, Armed Forces Salute, 1812 Overture by Tchaikovsky and other patriotic-themed selections. The show is conducted by Michael Rossi, MMF Orchestra's Artistic Director.

Sunday, July 7 and 14 at 6 p.m.

Arias at Sunset 
July 7 performance features the cast of “Dead Man Walking” and the 14th the cast of “Die Walkure.”

Monday, July 8 at 8 p.m.

Concert by singers from MMF's Opera Apprentice Program honoring the composer and featuring selections from “Dead Man Walking,” “Facing Forward/Looking Back,” and “Three Decembers.”

Sunday, July 21 at 6 p.m.

Bridges to Panama featuring Sound Impact a chamber music concert collaboration with MMF musicians and Panamanian artists.

Sunday, July 28 at 6 p.m.
The Betsy Hotel
Youth Program Spectacular featuring Miami-Dade high school students jazz, opera and musical theater selections highlighting their summer training.
