Miami is home to a great number of impressive award-winning local authors. Among them are poet laureates, Pulitzer Prize winners and Fellowship winners and they're coming together on Saturday, January 24, for the 2026 Local Author Book Fair at Downtown Miami's Main Library. Admission is free.
Bibliophiles are sure to love all the afternoon has to offer as will kids who love comics and fun-loving storybook characters who will make special appearances!
The event runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and announced so far on the schedule are Author Brad Meltzer, The Miami Herald Sports Columnist Greg Cote, Miami Zoo Communications Director Ron Magill and Author Asha Elias.
There also be live musical performances and fun face painting and arts & crafts for the kids.
