Light Up Dania includes drones, ‘ice’ rink & beer garden

Light Up Dania Beach offers entertainment, synthetic ice skating and a drone show. Photo ops include selfies with Santa. 

The event in 2024 is 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, November 16, and entry is free.

Light Up Dania Beach includes:

  • Kids zone
  • Ugly Sweater event, which is open to adults and kids as participants or spectators
  • free ice skating on a synthetic ice rink with skates provided. Bring your own socks or buy a pair for $2.
  • Kwanzaa Kinara
  • tree lighting
  • face painting
  • food trucks
  • toy drive
  • snow globe photo ops
  • arts and crafts
  • free hot chocolate
  • bounce houses and slides
  • beer garden
  • free gifts for first 120 at the event

Entertainment includes:

The event is at Dania City Hall, 100 W. Dania Beach Blvd., Dania Beach.

Free parking and shuttles are offered from Dania Beach Casino northwest lot, 301 E. Dania Beach Blvd., enter from Fronton Boulevard.
