Sweet Potato Pie Festival in Pompano offers free entry

Sweet potato pie. Gospel and other live performances. Dancing and lots of other fun for the family.

Juneteenth festivities in Pompano include Blues and Sweet Potato Pie Festival.

In 2023, the festival is 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. June 17 and entry is free. It's  at Apollo Park, 1580 NW Third  Avenue, Pompano Beach 33060.

The event includes performances, historical reenactment, DJ entertainment, hoola-hoop event, and food vendors. 

The event is presented by Friends of Northwest Branch Library with sponsorship from Pompano Beach.
