Instacart offers discount on food orders for eligible SNAP users

Instacart and some other grocery delivery businesses are offering a discount for eligible households on SNAP food programs. 

The offer is issued while government programs for food assistance are paused.

Instacart is featuring a 50 percent discount on food orders up to $50, while the promotion is offered.  The offer is valid for eligible Instacart users who previously used EBT SNAP program for their order within the parameters of the deal. 

Eligible recipients should receive an email from Instacart with information on redeeming the offer, according to a representative.
