Hometown Heroes Parade in Miami

Honor local heroes during the county's Hometown Heroes Parade, complete with marching bands, activities, displays and demonstrations.

Miami-Dade County will hold this first-ever event on Sunday, October 30 honoring the healthcare workers and first responders who risked their lives to serve and protect our community during the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • Date: Sunday, Oct. 30, 2022
  • Time: 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
  • Route: Route Biscayne Boulevard from the Intercontinental Hotel to FTX Arena/ Parcel B

After the street parade, guests can enjoy a waterfront parade on Biscayne Bay by the U.S. Coast Guard, fire departments, and police. Additional programming will include vessels with water-spraying features, Jet Ski aerialists and a Flyboard aerialist. Family Fun Fest will be held at the FTX Arena, 601 Biscayne Blvd., Miami, FL. Admission is free and open to all.
