Salsa in September in Coconut Creek features a live band & food vendors

The City of Coconut Creek is putting on several free concerts as part of its Groove N Grub concert series. For September, it's rebranding as Salsa in September and celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month.

Music will be by the Divas All Star, and Melendrez Dance Studios will be on hand to offer salsa lessons so everyone can join the dancing. Dance lessons are at 6 p.m., and the music goes from 7 to 9 p.m.

Bring your blankets, chairs and coolers and listen to favorite South Florida bands at these free, family-friendly concerts. No pets are allowed.

This event will be at the City Hall Courtyard, 4800 West Copans Road.
