Pick up free trees at distribution in Broward

If you're interested in sprucing up your landscaping, an organization is offering free trees at an event in Broward. 

The free trees are open to anyone, regardless of where they reside, while supplies last. There will be 150 trees available.

The event is 10 a.m. Saturday, May 16, at Village Art Plaza, 2260 NW 68th Ave., Sunrise 33313.

Village Art Plaza is an interesting venue packed with outdoor art displays. 

The selection includes avocado, mango, satinleaf, sugarberry and marlberry.

The trees are offered in a 3-gallon planter with information. The event is presented by Arbor Day Foundation and Community Greening.
