The events include a free lesson at 7:45 p.m. and a dance event 8:30 p.m. with a DJ playing Swing and Jazz.
The events in 2025 include April 30, May 10, June 11, June 25, July 9, July 23, August 6, August 20 and entry is usually free.
Live jazz event with a fee
May 10 is jazz night featuring with Svetlana and the Delancey Three, a popular swing dance band from New York. Entry for live jazz night is $15 adults and $10 students. The lesson at 7:45 p.m. is free.
The venue is Lauderdale Tennis Club, 600 Tennis Club Drive, Fort Lauderdale 33311
“Swing dancing is great exercise and a fun way to meet new people. The group is made up of people from all walks of life: pharmacists, artists, writers, teachers, high school students…professors and everything in-between, so all are welcome,” according to a representative of the organization.
