If you've looking for a reason to visit Key West, here's a good one. The annual Key West LobsterFest is truly a celebration of this favorite crustacean. The event takes place over four days, from Thursday, Aug. 8 to Sunday, Aug. 11, 2024. Many of the festivities require paid tickets, and of course, food and vendor prices vary. But on Saturday, Aug. 10, the vendor street fair and live entertainment are free and open to the public.
Saturday Performers:
- Just George at 1 p.m., at the intersection of Duval and Greene streets.
- Newsome Corbitt (aka Fried Newt) at 3 p.m. on the main stage.
- Jordan Oaks will be on stage at 5:30 p.m.
- The Durtbags will headline the show at 8 p.m.
Local bars and restaurants will be serving up fresh Florida Lobster. Menus will feature everything from appetizers to full meals. No entrance fee. Food and drinks sold individually.
