Free Smorgasburg Chinese Lunar New Year festival on Miami Beach

The Chinese Lunar New Year which in 2026 is the Year of the Fire Horse and happening on Feb. 17th, it's only fitting that Smorgasburg So Flo, the folks that once brought an outdoor food hall to Wynwood, would host a two-day Chinese Lunar New Year Festival on Saturday, Feb. 14 from noon to 10 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 15 from noon to 8 p.m. They'll be hosting at 1665 Lenox Ave. on Lincoln Road, Miami Beach.

There will be plenty of Asian-inspired food for purchase.

Here's the schedule of festivities for both Saturday and Sunday:

  • Have your caricature drawn either day between 1 and 3 p.m.
  • Take a calligraphy class with Mrs. Dans between 2 and 4 p.m.
  • Watch a lion dance performance from 5-5:30 p.m.
  • Catch a kung fu demonstration from 5:30-6 p.m.

The event is hosted on Lincoln Road in Miami Beach off 16 St. and Lennox Ave.
