Free Rhythm & Roots concert series at Arsht Center

Adding to the excitement of opening their 2026-2027 Broadway in Miami season with the Tony Award-winning musical "Buena Vista Social Club," the Arsht Center is hosting a nightly free concert series during the show's run from Sept. 29, 2026 through Oct. 4, 2026.

They're calling it "Rhythm & Roots," a lively celebration on the Arsht Center's outdoor plaza for live performances, DJs, dancing, domino games, local artisans and pop-up vendors. The Arsht's lobby will also be open and feature exhibitions, artifacts and photography that explore and depict Cuban culture. 

Here is the line-up of performers and starting times for each night:

• Sept. 29: Fry Trio & Leslie Cartaya at 6 p.m.
• Sept. 30: Palo! at 6 p.m.
• Oct. 1: Cortadito and 6Jam at 6 p.m.
• Oct. 2: OKAN and Julio Montalvo y El Huracan de Miami at 6:30 p.m.
• Oct. 3: Mr. Pauer, Magela Herrera, Humerto Ibarra and SONLOKOS at 4 p.m.
• Oct. 4: Mr. Pauer, Pedrito Calvo Jr. and MiriamMar at 3 p.m.

The Arsht website does state that artist availability may change so check our link above to confirm this lineup.
