Free recycled exterior paint for eligible Broward residents

Gallons of recycled exterior latex paint in a selection of hues are offered free to eligible Broward residents in towns participating in the program

Residents can request free outdoor paint if they reside in one of the municipalities that participate in the  program.  If you're interested in scoring free paint, phone  the public works department in your  town to determine if they participate and how to receive the free paint. Paint is distributed when it's available.

Sunrise offers a recycled paint program for residents. Other towns include Hollywood  public works department, 954-967-4526, and in Margate,  954-972-0828, Department of Environmental and Engineering Services

Others participants include unincoporated Broward,  North Lauderdale, Pembroke Park and West Park.

The free paint is produced by a paint manufacturer who blends usable supplies from among the leftovers and excess cans turned in to Broward’s household hazardous waste program. For information, dial 954-357-9678 or 954-765-4999

The  recycled latex exterior paint is offered in a selection of hues: off-white, beige, terracotta, gray and turquoise.
