Free outdoor Jazz at MOCA in North Miami

The long-running, popular – and free – Jazz at MOCA has been a fixture in the North Miami community and Miami's music scene for more than two decades.

The monthly event presented by the Museum of Contemporary Art North Miami features an exciting lineup of South Florida musicians playing on the last Friday of every month at 8 p.m.

Performing Friday, March 28: Live School of Music, a band of young musicians who will honor the work of some of their favorite female composers and songwriters.

Arrive by 7 p.m. to enjoy the Museum galleries, which are open from 7 to 10 p.m. The outdoor MOCA Plaza always features rotating monthly installations as part of their Art on the Plaza series, the last Friday of the month.

Note: Tickets are free, registration requested; seating is first-come, first-served but you can bring your own chair, plus you can visit the museum on a pay-as-you-wish basis 7-10 p.m.

The monthly concert series is offered free of charge at the MOCA Plaza, 770 NE 125th St., North Miami. Free Parking is available immediately east, west, and south of the museum. Handicap parking behind the museum, enter NE 8th Avenue, make the first right into parking lot.
