Free online tutoring through Miami-Dade Public Libraries

miami-dade-library-museum-passHomework time can be daunting for some students so the Miami-Dade County Public Library system is offering free tutoring help seven days a week from 3 to 11 p.m. through a free one-to-one online tutoring service from Tutor.com and K-12 Center.

The free service, aside from offering one-to-one tutoring, also includes a real-time writing center and 24/7 access to worksheets, videos and tutorials in virtually every subject.

Also, the K-12 Student Center features assistance with homework, test preparation, college entrance exams, real-time writing assistance from English tutors offering writing tips, strategies and proofreading. Study guides and videos are available in math, science, social studies and English.

The services are open to all library cardholders and are accessible at the library and on any laptop, desktop or mobile device connected to the Internet.
