Friday Night Sound Waves offers free live music at oceanside park

With the surf and ocean air offering delightful ambience, Friday Night Sound Waves offers free live entertainment at Las Olas Oceanside Park in Fort Lauderdale from November through May.

Usually artisan vendors and food and drink vendors are featured at the Sound Waves events.  At 5 p.m., you can play games on the lawn. Music is from 7 to 9:30 p.m.

Sound Waves and Other Live Performances in 2024 include

  • November 15. Barry Britton is Rod Stewart.
  • November 22. Never Stop Believin’ Journey tribute.
  • November 29. Hotter Than July Stevie Wonder tribute.
  • December 6. Latria Savage is Whitney Houston. VIP Tickets with guaranteed front-row seating are available for $7.50 at theloopflb.com/whitney
  • December 13. Nearly Diamond Neil Diamond. VIP Tickets are available for $7.50 at theloopflb.com/diamond.
  •  Tuesday, December 24. 4th annual Christmas Eve with Sinatra & Friends. Jeff Grainger plays Sinatra in a dinner theater-style show, backed with a six-piece band and accompanied by Rat Pack favorites Sammy and Dean. Open lawn seating is free. 
    Supper Club seating is available starting at $7.50 per person at theloopflb.com/sinatra.

Venue & Parking information

Las Olas Oceanside Park is at  3000 E. Las Olas Blvd., Fort Lauderdale 33316

Parking is offered at lots and at Las Olas Beach Parking Garage, 200 Las Olas Circle, Fort Lauderdale 33316. Parking fees at the garage are usually $4 an hour.
