Free Miami Performance International Festival '26
Edge Zones Art Center is hosting their 15th Annual Miami Performance International Festival with an artist talk on Friday, Sept. 4 from 6-9 p.m. and live performances on Saturday, Sept. 5 at 3317 NW 7 Ave. Circle, Miami. Admission is free.
This year's festival theme is "Rituals for Uncertain Futures," and brings together together emerging and established voices whose practices span performance, movement, sound, installation, video, and socially engaged art.
On Sept. 4 participating artists will discuss and explore their ideas, artistic practices and processes for creating their works in this year's festival. Participating artists are Lisa Kusanagi, Luis Manuel Otero Alcántara, Richard Verges and Carlos Bonil and the conversation will be moderated by Estefanía Papescu & Edge Zones Founder Charo Oquet.
Then on Sept. 5 the evening will feature live performances by all the festival's participating artists presenting works of art, movement, sound, installation, and socially engaged practice.
Participating artists are Mariana Angels, Dimitry Chamy, Girl Heaven, Juraj Kojs, Katelyn Kopenhaver, Lisa Kusanagi, MyFiStudio, Luis Manuel Otero Alcántara, Richard Verges and Carlos Bonil.
