Free Miami International Piano Festival Academy Concerts

The faculty of the Miami International Piano Festival Academy will be tickling the ivories from Jan. 6-12, 2026 during a week-long concert series happening at the Miami Beach Woman's Club.

Each night will feature a new artist taking the stage and the schedule is as follows. All concerts are at 7 p.m. except for Jan. 11 which is at 4 p.m. at the Aventura Cultural Arts Center performance and Jan. 12 which has an additional performance at 4 p.m.

Monday, Jan. 6:

Performance by Ariel Lanyi of music by Beethoven, Schumann, Respighi and Debussy. He has performed with the Czech Philharmonic and the Israeli Philharmonic.

Tuesday, Jan. 7:

Julien Libeer whose national and international acclaim includes performing with various orchestras, performs music by Mozart and Ravel.

Wednesday, Jan. 8:

Ilya Itin, known for his chamber music collaborations and recording of the complete Debussy Preludes will play compositions by Brams and Liszt.

Thursday, Jan. 9:

Stephen Beus, winner of the Juilliard School Concerto Competition who has performed with The Tivoli Symphony of Copehagen, the Vaasa Symphony Orchestra and at Carnegie Hall will play compositions by Liszt, Bassen-Liszt, Bach, Rameau and Medtner. 

Friday, Jan. 10:

Albert Cano Smit, a Spanish/Dutch pianist who has performed at Carnegie Hall and with various renowned orchestras will play compositions by Granados, Bach and Faure.

Saturday, Jan. 11 at 5 p.m. at the Aventura Cultural Arts Center:

A special two piano recital with Kemal Gekic and Kristina Miller, program to be announced.

Sunday, Jan. 12 at 4 and 7 p.m.:
