Free Hanging with Heroes family event at Shops at Merrick Park

Bring the whole family to Shops at Merrick Park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18 for the 6th Annual Hanging with Heroes event.

Hosted by Miami Mom Collective and the nonprofit organization Branches, the event with include plenty of fun-filled family activities.

Costumed superheroes will make appearances throughout the day to greet fans and take selfies. Along with the themed activity stations spread throughout the open-air mall that day, kids can also enjoy arts & crafts, a ball pit by Bounce Cloud Miami, pumpkin decorating, face painting and balloon twisting.

Magical Glowing Photo Booth will be on hand for fun photo ops and DJ David of Sounds Sweet Entertainment and the Jam with Jamie Show will provide the music.

Because this is a partnership with Branches, a nonprofit dedicated to fighting poverty and empowering families, attendees are encouraged to nonperishable food items for their 25th Annual Thanksgiving Meal Delivery.
