Free Frost Music Live! concert in Coral Gables
The Frost School of Music's Frost Music Live! series at the University of Miami Coral Gables campus is presenting a free concert "In Harmony: Schumann, Chopin, & the Academy Winners," as part of the Frost Chopin Academy & Festival on Friday, June 19 at 7 p.m.
The concert features a collaboration between the Apollon Musagète Quartet and Frost School of Music bassist Brian Powell who will perform alongside winners of the Academy’s chamber and concerto auditions.
They will perform Schumann’s Piano Quintet in E?flat major, op. 44 and also one of Chopin’s piano concerti, selected according to the winner of the concerto auditions, all presented in a chamber setting.
Apollon Musagète Quartet’s residency at Frost Chopin Academy and Festival is made possible with the partnership of Friends of Chamber Music of Miami.
